Turn iPhone Icon Clutter Into Folders

Your home screen is probably a mess of scattered icons. It doesn’t have to be that way.

Here’s the trick: hold down any icon until it starts to wiggle. While it’s still wiggling, drag that icon and drop it directly on top of another one. Let go, and the phone instantly creates a folder containing both apps.

Now you can actually organize your screen. Group your communication apps like WhatsApp, Signal, and Messages together. Make a separate folder for camera and photos, or bundle your ride-sharing apps. You can even name these folders whatever you want—“Communications” or “Travel” or just “Stuff.”

A tidy home screen makes using your phone feel significantly better. Try it the next time you’re staring at a chaotic grid of apps.
