Skip the network headache with Tailscale
Struggling with home network barriers? Tailscale creates a secure virtual network so your devices can share files and communicate anywhere.
Setting up a home network is usually a pain. You want your devices to talk to each other and share files, but the reality is often a tangled stack of hardware. Your ISP feeds into a modem, which might have Wi-Fi, and then you have a router below that, also broadcasting Wi-Fi. Somewhere in that stack, you have devices plugged in and others floating wirelessly. That architecture creates invisible barriers between your machines, making it hard to get them to interact.
There is a simpler way. I recommend Tailscale.
It creates a virtual private network (VPN) among your devices. I find it super helpful because I have an AI agent running on a separate machine. I also have my laptop, which I take out of the house, and my phone. Because they are all on Tailscale, they can all communicate regardless of where they are physically located. I can interact with my AI agent from my phone or laptop when I’m out of the house.
If you need to connect a bunch of things on the same logical network, check out Tailscale.
