Skip the Adobe Subscription with This Open Source Tool

You know that annoying moment when you try to cancel a subscription and the interface twists your arm to keep you? That’s a dark pattern. It’s a misleading user interface designed to trick you into staying.

Adobe is a prime example. They make Photoshop and Illustrator, but their subscription model can feel like a trap if you only need to edit photos occasionally.

Here’s a better option: ArtCraft. It’s an open-source, vibe-coded alternative to several Adobe apps. It’s not as full-featured, and it might have some bugs, but if you don’t want to pay a monthly fee, it’s a solid choice.

Check it out at getartcraft.com. It’s free, and for casual users, it’s much better than paying for a subscription you rarely use.
