If you spend a lot of time on your computer, you quickly learn that the mouse is the bottleneck. Keeping your hands on the keyboard is faster, more comfortable, and keeps you in flow. That’s why I use a Chrome extension called Vimium (V-I-M-I-U-M). It’s not a full Vim emulator, but for browsing, it’s a game-changer.

Here’s what I actually use:

Press F: Every clickable element on the page gets a two- or three-letter code (like LK). Type the code, and it’s as if you clicked it. No hunting with the cursor.
J and K: Scroll down and up, respectively. Simple, consistent, and fast.
Capital G: Jump straight to the bottom of the page.
G then G: Jump straight to the top.

That’s it. No configuration, no learning curve. Just a few keys that replace the most common mouse actions. If you’re still clicking around, try Vimium for a day. Your hands will thank you.
