Cancel your iPhone subscription before deleting the app
Stop accidental recurring charges by canceling your App Store subscription in Settings before you delete the app from your iPhone.
Here is a very simple mistake that is easy to make: you delete an app from your iPhone and forget that you had a subscription attached to it. The app is gone, but the charge remains.
To avoid recurring charges, handle the subscription before you delete the app. Go to Settings, tap your name, and look for Subscriptions. In there, you will find everything that you pay for through the App Store. You can cancel directly from that list, and then delete the app.
There is one complication. If you signed up on a service’s website rather than through the App Store, you have to manage that subscription separately. But for anything billed through the App Store, that Settings menu is where you get it handled.
